The Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club will hold its 63rd Annual Mass and Parade celebration on Saturday, March 13th, 2010, 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Assumption Church (corner of Constance and Josephine Streets) followed by the parade (corner of Felicity and Magazine) at 1:00 p.m. The Practice March is Friday, March 5, 2010 and the benefit block party will take place on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Annunciation Square Playground, directly in front of St. Michael's Special School; to whom the proceeds of the block will be donated.
The 7th annual Soul Fest at the Audubon Zoo will be held on March 5-7, 2010.
Soul Fest is a celebration of African American food, music, crafts and culture. This two day event spotlights the achievements of African Americans, educates about their heritage and culture, and promotes health and wellness in the African American community.
Soul Fest began in 2003, recent Soul Fests have presented such talented artists as trumpeter extraordinaire Irvin Mayfield, gospel great Yolanda Adams, the Hot 8 and Rebirth Brass Bands and a number of uniquely New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian Big Chiefs.
The Secret Gardens Tour reveals to the public many of the most spectacular private gardens in Uptown New Orleans. Word of mouth has established the tour as one of the best outdoor garden events in the city, boasting thousands of participants annually from New Orleans and beyond. During the tours, volunteer docents direct visitors through the gardens, while renowned landscaping experts and homeowners are on hand to answer questions and offer insider details.

The Deutsches Haus, a landmark of New Orleans' German Culture since 1928, has announced it's return of the annual Oktoberfest celebration this year. The Deutsches Haus, 200 South Galvez, has been host of the city's largest Oktoberfest celebration for over three decades.
