From the town that gave you Mardi Gras, comes a devilish way to spend Halloween. Actually we start a day or two early in order to pack in all the fun and events planned for the holiday. From children's activities sponsored by the city zoo to a collaboration between many of the museums to provide specialty tours, there is something for all ages to enjoy. The kids will love Boo at the Zoo at Audubon Zoo, and Sheriff Foti's Haunted House in City Park.

Tireless volunteers have been hard at work preparing old favorites and new additions! There's plenty of room for everyone since the festival has expanded and reconfigured the grounds to better accomodate our guests. The Saints and Sinners Literary Festival was founded in 2001 as a new initiative designed as an innovative way to reach the community with information about HIV/AIDS, particularly disseminating prevention messages via the writers, thinkers and spokes-people of the GLBT community. It was also formed to bring the GLBT literary community together to celebrate the literary arts.
