The 2nd Pink Rubber Boots Ladies Fishing Rodeo of 2009 will be held in Destin, FL at the famous Harbor Docks Seafood Market on Saturday, August 1st.
The fishing festivities begin with a Captain's Meeting at 6pm on Thursday, July 30th. All anglers - wear your pink rubber boots or Fishin' Chix sandals for a wild and crazy fishing fiesta. Captains/boat owners and guests are also invited to attend. This will be a big night with delicious food, live music, and raffles.
Then, at 6am sharp on Saturday, August 1st, get ready to yell "FISH ON!" and compete for stellar trips, cash, and prizes. Enjoy the best of Mother Nature and Florida’s perfect catchin’ waters, while supporting the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. There will be seven categories to fish for AND there will also be a separate Snapper category in the Destin tournament. We will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the snapper category but this category will not be a factor in determining the Grand Champion.
