It is that special time again that French American Chamber of Commerce – Atlanta Chapter gets ready to celebrate its Beaujolais Nouveau Festival.
Each year, the third Thursday of November at midnight, the young Beaujolais Nouveau wine is released to all four corners of the world and sparks a worldwide celebration of good wine, good food and good times! This year, the harvest looks to be very good. The grapes got their fill of sun in June and July (July 2006 in the Beaujolais was the hottest since 1959). To date the heath of the grapes is very satisfactory.
They've been running the Atlanta Marathon for over forty years. Well, not continuously! And the Thanksgiving tradition continues this year with over 6,000 runners expected to attend.
