is GOOD! In fact, the news is GREAT for Panama City Beach. Almost no damage (other than some minor beach erosion) and the Beaches are business as usual. Destin was well prepared, and luckily avoided any major damage. Most hotels, resorts and restaurants shook the beach sand out of the rugs and went right back to business. And even though Pensacola was once again in the bullseye, “Dennis the Menace” was no where near the ugly menace of “Ivan the Terrible!” We've put together a short article from some of the information we received and want to pass it along to our TripSmarter.Com members: Destin | Panama City Beach | Pensacola Elsewhere in the Southeast, the Summer rolls along in typical fashion... with special events and festivals happening everywhere you look.
