Dine Out for Project Open Hand
Atlanta, GA -Presented by M.A.C Viva Glam and the Atlanta restaurant community, Dine Out for Project Open Hand will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Dine Out for Project Open Hand is a unique opportunity for people throughout metropolitan Atlanta to support Project Open Hand/Atlanta just by dining out. Approximately 200 Atlanta area restaurants participate in the daylong event, generously contributing 20% or more of gross sales to Project Open Hand. All proceeds support the non-profit organization’s mission of providing nutrition services and home-delivered meals to Atlantans suffering from chronic or critical illnesses.

More than 40,000 diners will participate in the event, making it one of the largest fundraisers in the city. Thanks to the generous support of hundreds of Atlanta-area restaurants and underwriting sponsors, the event is budgeted to raise $250,000 for Project Open Hand. There is no need to purchase a ticket to this charity benefit.
To participate, simply dine out for breakfast, lunch or dinner on April 23 at a participating restaurant. With approximately 200 restaurants participating, there’s a choice for absolutely every taste and budget, from 5-star dining rooms to neighborhood eateries. For a complete update of participating restaurants, visit www.dineoutforpoh.org.
While enjoying dinner on April 23th, diners will have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win prizes. To make a greater impact, sign up to become a Volunteer or Ambassador. Both are vital to the success of Dine Out for Project Open Hand and create opportunities to meet new people and have fun while supporting a meaningful cause.
